Dr. Phillip Shadduck received his medical degree from UCLA and his surgical training at Duke University. He has served as Division Chief, General Surgery, Durham Regional Hospital; Attending Surgeon, Durham VA Medical Center; Attending Surgeon, North Carolina Specialty Hospital, and Assistant Consulting Professor of Surgery, Duke University Medical Center. He is a JSLS Editorial Board member and guest editor for Surgical Endoscopy, Hernia, and JACS.
